Saluki desert hounds

Hello everybody

this saluki wind hundes photos are rare evidence to what used to be part of the desert wildlife

for thousands of years and is now forbidden by low in fear the hounds will chase a hare or a desert gazelle but actually the low is there against undesired human presence in those desert areas, what's the dog's to blame for human stupidity ,after all, gazelles suffered most of all from people holding guns , shot just for nothing exactly as the salukis are being shot by rangers up to our time here in the holly land of Israel .
